NISMO collaborates with Motul to be official lubricant provider

Renowned tuning and racing firm Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd., (NISMO) has tapped Motul to be its official lubricant and oil provider for its 2013 Nissan GTR GT3 project.
After having racked up race victories from across the globe with its 2012 version GTR GT3, Nismo hopes to conquer new ground with the 2013 version. Significant improvements were made on a number of factors, including engine performance and durability, aerodynamic performance, brake balance, and suspension settings to suit the new aerodynamics package. Gear ratios were adjusted to optimize engine output.
Nismo engineers stated that their long-standing relationship with Motul has helped the tuning firm achieve its target performance for the Japanese GT car. “We’re delighted to be working with Motul, a company with a very strong heritage and which has successfully taken part in many championships. We have used many different lubricants in the past, across the different series for which we provide engines, and have been very impressed with the performance Motul’s oils showed.”
Motul engine oils have anti-oxidation properties, preventing premature thickening and aging due to thermal stress. Its high performance anti-wear additive increases engine life and decreases wear by reducing engine internal frictions resulting in smooth and light acceleration. Motul’s line of 100 % fully synthetic oils have been the lubricant of choice of racing teams in the World Rally Championship, Japan Super GT and Moto GP.
