Nippon Oil starts blending in Guangzhou
Nippon Oil (Guangzhou) Lubricating Oil Co. has started operations in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. The project, which costs US$17 million, was financed by Japan’s Nippon Oil Corporation. Located at Xiaohu Village in Nansha District, the plant will produce 27 million liters of lubricants annually. The project will bring the Japanese company’s total lube production capacity in China to 82 million liters, or 1.6% of China’s annual demand. (November 7, 2006)
