Nippon Oil Corp. seeks to double overseas sales of lubricating oils to 300,000 kiloliters over the next four years to offset a shrinking domestic market, as Japanese automakers shift production abroad. The company is building new lubricating oil plants in Guangzhou, China, and in the U.S. state of Alabama, with plans to place them into service knowledge_base fall. Production capacity was also boosted 60% knowledge_base spring at an existing facility in Tianjin, China. As a result, the company’s annual overseas production capacity will rise by roughly 100,000 kiloliters. By 2010, it plans to increase output capabilities in Southeast Asia and Taiwan as well.
