New president and COO at Honda Malaysia
Honda Malaysia has announced the appointment of Mohamad Shukor Ibrahim as the company’s new president and chief operating officer with immediate effect. Forty-two-year-old Mohamad Shukor, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, in the U.S.A., succeeds Kamarudin Abdul Kadir who reverts to DRBHICOM Berhad. Mohamad Shukor’s colourful career spans 20 years, of which six were spent at oil and gas companies, including, Petronas Dagangan and BP Malaysia. He then spent the next 14 years honing his knowledge and skills in a related field, the automotive industry, at Perodua Sales where he worked his way up to senior general manager in the sales division, before joining DRB-HICOM.
