New oil products export customs duties approved
Russia’s government has approved rates of export custom duties on crude oil and several types of oil products, which will be exported beyond the borders of the Customs Union member-states. Crude oil duties will cost US$110, those forlight distillates, medium distillates, gas and oil be rated at US$86.4. Liquid fuel and used oil products’ duties will cost US$46.50, while those for propane, butanes, ethylene, propylene, butene and butadiene, as well as other liquefied gases will not rate custom duties. Petroleum jelly, mineral wax and similar products, not including crude, will be worth US$46.50. Oil coke, oil bitumen and other processing remainders will cost US$46.50, except oil calcined coke. Benzol, toluene and xylol will cost $86.40. (March 31, 2009)
