Nansha oil depot to expand storage capacity
Sixteen new vertical storage tanks with an aggregate storage capacity of 420,000 cubic meters will be installed in the oil depot in the Nansha Economic and Technical Development Zone, Guangzhou City, south China. This expansion consists of a 360,000-cubic-meter gasoline and diesel oil commercial storage, trading, and distribution capacity, as well as a 60,000-cubic-meter gasoline and methanol storage capacity for distribution and logistics. After the construction, total storage capacity of the Nansha oil depot will reach 770,000 cubic meters. Its turnover is expected to hit 8.94 million tons in 2020, making it one of the biggest storage facilities in south China. (August 10, 2009)
