Moscow to ban sale of fuel below Euro 4 in 2013

In an interview with the television channel Moskva-24, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the city’s filling stations will no longer be allowed to sell motor fuel which does not meet Euro 4 standards starting January 1, 2013. “The move is now possible thanks to the completion of the reconstruction of Moscow Oil Refinery, which produces Euro 4 and Euro 5 class gasoline,” Sobyanin explained.
