Moscow Oil Refinery to invest RUB68 billion in refining complexMoscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ) plans to invest RUB68.2 billion (USD2.06 billion) in the construction of an advanced oil refining complex, the company said in a statement.
The new complex will help increase light oil product output to 82%, oil processing depth to 98%, and electric power production by 40%. MNPZ’s installed capacity is 12.15 million tons of oil a year.
The company produces gasoline, diesel fuel, marine and aviation fuels, fuel oil, high-octane boosters, bitumen and various gases. The plant supplies nearly 40% of the Moscow area. In 2009, the plant started a RUB130 billion (USD3.9 billion) modernization program.
Under the program the company plans to increase the time between scheduled repairs to four years.
