Month-long shut down at Port Dickson refinery

Royal Dutch Shell is underway with a planned month-long maintenance program at its 156,000 barrel-per-day refinery at Port Dickson, Malaysia. The maintenance project should be complete by early June. The refinery houses a long residue catalytic cracker. Shell has recently acquired on the cash market, six 97-octane gasoline cargoes, with approximately 300,000 barrels from companies such as Trafigura, PetroChina, Total and Vitol, at reported prices of US$139.70 to US$143 a barrel.
