M&M to launch new passenger vehicle

Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) said it has begun the production of a new passenger vehicle, which it plans to start selling from January, in a bid to diversify its product portfolio. The vehicle, called Xylo, is being manufactured at its Nashik factory in the western state of Maharashtra, the company said in a statement, without elaborating on the type of the vehicle.
