Mitsubishi may introduce EV in Thailand
Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will join with the Thai government to test the Japanese automaker’s i-MiEV electric vehicle (EV) for possible introduction in Thailand, the Bangkok Post reported. Executives said Mitsubishi Motors Thailand will begin preparing for the future market introduction of the i-MiEV, while the government would create an organization coordinated by the Industry Ministry to study electric vehicles (EV). The ministry aims to use the i-MiEV to research the acceptability and marketability of electric vehicles in Thailand, setting up user support systems, expanding charging infrastructure and other services.
