Mitsubishi launches less expensive i-MiEV electric car
Japan’s Mitsubishi Motors Corp. announced the launch of two versions of the i-MiEV electric car. The company cut the price of one version and extended the range of the other. Mitsubishi is offering an entry level M version at US$32,000. “We will try to keep the price down even when the subsidies go away,” President Osamu Masuko said.
