Mission locks in biodiesel contract

Mission Biofuels Ltd. based in Perth, Australia has secured a 12-month contract with a global oil trading company to supply up to 84,000 tons of biodiesel in 2009. In its June monthly update released to the Australian stock exchange, the company sold and shipped about 4,500 tons of biodiesel from its refinery business in Malaysia using its export pipeline for the first time. Meanwhile work on the company’s second 25,000 ton per year refinery in Malaysia is continuing. The company has maintained its profit guidance for the 2008 financial year, with earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of around A$9 million (US$7.8 million).
