Mission Biofuels completes plant construction
Perth, Australia-based biodiesel producer Mission Biofuels Ltd. has completed construction of its 100,000 ton per annum biodiesel plant at Kuantan Port, Malaysia, with commissioning to be completed by mid-September, the company announced. Unexpected delays in routine final inspections caused a delay in the original schedule. Crown Iron Works said they are satisfied with the progress of the commissioning thus far and do not anticipate any complications for the remainder of the commissioning phase. Crown has seven identical capacity plants in operation, including three that have been successfully commissioned within the last six months. (August 27, 2007)
