Mercedes-Benz Japan to launch fuel-efficient diesel vehicle

Mercedes-Benz Japan Co. released a redesigned diesel-engine vehicle that is more fuel efficient and emits less nitrogen oxides than previous models. The E 350 BlueTEC–the first makeover in three years–comes in two types, sedan and wagon, and features a technology capable of reducing emissions of both NOx and particulate matter from diesel fuel exhaust by 69% and 2%, respectively.
