As part of the voluntary labeling program for vehicle mileage spearheaded by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., India’s largest manufacturer of passenger vehicles, revealed the fuel efficiency of all its 12 brands, multi-utility vehicles (MUV) and sport utility vehicles (SUV) sold in the country. The Maruti 800 delivers 16.1 km to a liter, and its 5th world strategic model A Star achieves 19 kilometers per liter.
