Mallon succeeds Fisher

Rob Fisher has resigned as chairman of Esso Malaysia Bhd, the Malaysian unit of ExxonMobil Corp., effective September 14. He has accepted a new assignment in Houston, Texas, as vice president of Operated by Others (OBO) Projects, effective September 1. Liam Mallon will replace him as chairman of Esso Malaysia Bhd. Mallon was a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from the Herriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Previous to knowledge_base assignment, he was president of ExxonMobil Canada Ltd., where he was responsible for all activities relating to ExxonMobil’s business in Canada. (August 17, 2006)
