Malaysian port to increase capacity

The Port of Tanjung Langsat in Malaysia’s Johor state will have a new tank facility with a total capacity to store 400,000 cubic meters (cu m) of fuel oil, naphtha and middle distillates. MISC Berhad, a subsidiary of state-owned Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), and oil and gas services firm Dialog Group, will set up a joint venture, named Dialog Centralized Tank Facilities (CTF) Sdn, to develop the tank terminal. The facility is expected to be fully operational in 2012. (October 15, 2007)
