Mahindra to launch next gen mini truck at Auto Expo 2010

Indian auto major Mahindra & Mahindra said it will launch its mini-truck Maxximo, the first product from its new facility in Chakan, at the Auto Expo in New Delhi, India. Maxximo is designed with a high technology diesel engine of 90 cc and powered by 2 cylinders. The external architecture and style of “Maxximo” will be similar as that of the former light commercial vehicle “Gio” launched by Mahindra & Mahindra. The company had planned to produce 5,000 to 6,000 units initially. (December 30, 2009)
