Lukoil starts selling Euro 5 compliant diesel fuel

Lukoil has started selling Euro 5 compliant diesel fuel under the “EKTO Diesel” brand at Lukoil filling stations within Russia. Previously, Lukoil was mainly exporting this type of diesel fuel, which is produced by the company’s refineries in Nizhny Novgorod, Perm and Ukhta. The company has invested heavily in the construction of new processing units, including vacuum gasoil hydrocracking at ÎÎÎ LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez, and also in the reconstruction of a diesel-fuel hydrotreatment unit at LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez, as well as a number of other processing units, employing cutting-edge catalysts.
