Lukoil lube output tops record set in 2008
Russia’s largest private oil company Lukoil produced about 1.4 million tons of lubricating oils and special oil products in 2010, exceeding its previous record set in 2008 by 9%, the company said. In 2010, Lukoil also produced 111,000 tons of paraffin compared to 87,800 tons in 2009, and 46,900 tons of oil extract compared to 31,100 tons in 2009, the statement said, adding that production facilities of the company operated at almost full capacity. Lubricant oil sales rose to 1.376 million tons in 2010, exceeding the 2008 record by 9.4%. (December 31, 2010)
