LUKOIL launches new line of engine oils
LLK-International (a wholly-owned JSC LUKOIL subsidiary) has launched a new generation of engine oils called LUKOIL GENESIS. The new products are manufactured at the Petrotel-LUKOIL refinery located in Romania. The LUKOIL GENESIS motor oil is fully compliant with the environmental requirements for lubricants for Euro 5 and Euro 6 compliant engines. It has low sulfur, phosphorus and sulfated ash. Currently LUKOIL GENESIS oils are sold in the EU countries.
In April 2012, LLK-International signed an agreement with General Motors Powertrain of Uzbekistan which, among other things, stipulates that LUKOIL GENESIS motor oil will be used for factory fill GM cars manufactured in Tashkent. The LUKOIL GENESIS motor oils have an API SN license, as well as a GM Dexos2 license and meets ACEA C3-2010 requirements. The oils have also received the following OEM approvals: MB Approval 229.51, BMW Longlife-04, VW 502 00/505 00 and Renault RN 0710. (August 10, 2012)โ
