Lukoil launches new brands of motor gasoline

Lukoil OAO, Russia’s largest oil company, has introduced a new premium class of motor gasolines, EKTO Plus 95 and EKTO Sport 98, to the market. A multi-functional additive contained in the new gasoline is said to reduce gasoline consumption, engine wear and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, as well as protect the engine from corrosion. EKTO Plus and EKTO Sport’s superior performance were proven through testing conducted in Great Britain by an independent testing center, Tickford Power Train Test Ltd., according to Lukoil.
