Lukoil begins shipping oils and lubricants to Afghanistan

LLK International will begin shipping oils and lubricants to Afghanistan in October. The company is a subsidiary of Lukoil. Afghanistan uses many Russian-made helicopters, tractors and other equipment. Lukoil is positioning itself in Afghanistan and is increasing its presence in the country’s lubricants and oils market. Its goal is to become the first major oil company to supply petroleum products in the country. After Afghanistan, Lukoil will extend its expansion program to include other countries like Pakistan, India and China. (September 29, 2011)
