Lubrizol begins expansion of Kentucky plant
Lubrizol Advanced Materials, a subsidiary of U.S.-based Lubrizol Corp., announced that it has started expanding its Louisville, Ky., U.S.A. plant. The plant is being expanded to meet demand for the company’s TempRite chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) products. “This plant expansion is just one of many efforts being undertaken to support our global strategic growth plan,” said Dale Willis, general manager for TempRite Engineered Polymers.The expansion is to be completed in 2012. CPVC products are used as building materials in a variety of applications due to their chemical and temperature resistance properties, ease of installation and durability. (July 25, 2011)
