Kline predicts recovery for global metalworking fluids market

Two new reports, “Opportunities in Lubricants: North American Market Analysis” and “Metalworking Fluids 2010 Global Series: Market Analysis and Opportunities” have been released by U.S. consulting firm Kline & Company. The reports indicate there are positive indicators that the industrial oil and fluids market is posed for a post-recession recovery. Overall consumption volume for lubricants is up 11%, according to the report. The metalworking fluids’ global market is also expected to increase by 3% per annum through 2015. Asia will realize the highest growth rate at 5%, bringing this market back into the black for the first time since the recession began two years ago. (August 1, 2011)
