Kazakhstan extends export ban till July 1

Kazakhstan’s Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev announced the extension of the government’s ban on the exportation of fuels and lubricants till July 1, 2012. On May 29, 2010, Kazakhstan imposed the ban which was originally set to expire in July of that year, but the ban was extended to November 2010. This is the third time the government has extended the ban. (January 16, 2012)
