Kazakhstan extends ban on petroleum, lubricants export until 2015

Kazakhstan’s Minister of Oil and Gas, Sauat Mynbayev, announced that the country will extend the ban on the exportation of petroleum, oil products and lubricants until 2015. The ban will be extended pending completion of three major oil refineries which will sufficiently supply local demand for all types of petroleum products. The ban was first imposed in May 2010 and has been extended several times. (December 28, 2011)
