Japan auto output to slip below 10 million
Japan’s vehicle output is likely to fall short of 10 million units for the second straight year in 2010, statistics released by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) indicated. Combined production in the first 11 months of 2010 came to 8,877,993 units, up 24.2% from a year earlier, with output for November standing at 802,009 units, down 6.7%. (December 28, 2010)
