JAL plans first biofuel flight

Japan Airlines (JAL) is planning to hold the first biofuel flight in Asia before next March. The airline will use second-generation biofuels, although the fuel source has not yet been disclosed. Other airlines to have completed biofuel flights include Virgin Atlantic, Air New Zealand and Continental Airlines. (June 25, 2008)
