Infineum and Nano Terra extend co-development program

Infineum and Nano Terra announced their plans to continue the product research and development collaboration they started in 2011. The extended co-development program will produce a new range of materials for Infineum that will enhance its product line. Infineum is one of the global leaders in the formulation, manufacturing as well as marketing of petroleum additives for lubricants and fuel. Nano Terra is a Boston nanotechnology company founded by Professor George Whitesides of Harvard University. “This program is an example of the continued focus Infineum has on developing innovative solutions for the most critical challenges facing our industry – from creating the first pour-point depressants in the 1930s, to developing novel additives for today’s challenging engine environments,” said Rick Finn, Global Product Manager for Infineum USA. “We’re confident that this ongoing collaboration effort with Nano Terra will lead to new products and improved performance for our customers.” (July 18, 2012)
