Inergy builds fuel systems plants in Asia-Pacific

Inergy Automotive Systems, a joint venture between French plastics processing specialist Plastic Omnium Co. and Belgian chemical and pharmaceutical company Solvay S. A., has started work on two projects in Asia Pacific. Inergy is building a new fuel systems facilities intended to supply car assembly plants in Beijing, China and Chennai, India. The Beijing facility is set to supply a Hyundai factory starting July 2010, while the Chennai factory will serve an upcoming Nissan plant slated to start making the redesigned Micra car from May 2010 (June 20, 2009).
