Idex sells Lubriquip

Idex Corp., based in Northbrook, Illinois, announced in July the sale of Lubriquip, Inc. to Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Graco Inc. Lubriquip, which has facilities in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and Madison, Wisconsin, manufactures and markets centralized and automated oil and grease lubrication systems, force-feed lubricators, metering devices, and related electronic controls and accessories. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed but Idex said it expects to report an after-tax gain in the third quarter of approximately US$16 to $17 million on the sale of the business. (July 11, 2006)
