Idemitsu, PetroVietnam plan to make gasoil from jatropha oil

Idemitsu Kosan Co. and state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Corp. said they had been considering the possibility of producing gasoil from the seed of a plant that grows in Vietnam. The two companies are now conducting tests which will determine if the two companies can begin commercial development of biodiesel from jatropha by 2013. (November 9, 2011)
