Idemitsu Lube opens Changchun office

Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Idemitsu Lube Co., Ltd. will open a sales office in Changchun, China, beginning April 1. Idemitsu Lube (China) Co., Ltd. decided to establish an office in Changchun City to strengthen its customer support system and sales and marketing capability in northeastern China. Founded in 2003 as a supply base for lubricants in China, Idemitsu Lube (China) Co., Ltd. is an important base for Idemitsu’s lubricants business overseas. Idemitsu Kosan sold about 370,000 kiloliters of lubricants last year to more than 40 countries. It has three bases in China, including the Tianjin Headquarters and plant, the Shanghai branch office and the Guangzhou branch office. Changchun is the headquarters for First Automobile Works Group, one of China’s four largest automakers, and the base for the automobile industry in northeastern China. (March 28, 2012)
