Hyundai sets target to sell 720,000 units in China

South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co. has set a goal to sell 720,000 vehicles this year in China, the world’s largest automobile market. There were 11.12 million passenger cars sold in China last year. Part of that goal includes selling 50,000 Sonata sedans in China in 2011. The Sonata is available with either a 2.0 or 2.4 liter gasoline engine. Both versions come equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. (April 8,2011)
