Hyundai Motor unveils vision for sustainable growth

South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co. said it will rev up efforts to significantly improve the fuel efficiency of its vehicles and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. In its annual report on sustainable growth, the company also said its vehicles will be designed in a way that will allow 95% of them from 2015 to be recycled or reused when they go out of service. To join international efforts to fight global warming, Hyundai Motor will work to improve its vehicles’ fuel efficiency by 50% before 2020 under its Blue Drive initiative launched two years ago, according to Hyundai.
