Honeywell UOP's CEO receives 2012 Chemical Engineering Personal Achievement Award

Chemical Engineering magazine awarded the 2012 Chemical Engineering Personal Achievement Award to Honeywell’s UOP President and CEO Rajeev Gautam, in recognition of his “record of notable accomplishments in the application of chemical engineering principles in solving major social challenges.”
Since 1968, the Chemical Engineering Personal Achievement Award has been presented by Chemical Engineering magazine every other year to industry and academic leaders in the field of chemical engineering. Chosen from a pool of 16 international finalists, Gautam received the prestigious award at the 2012 ChemInnovations Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Andreas Kramvis, president and CEO of Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies, cited Rajeev’s leadership and hard work as the driving force that has allowed UOP to achieve significant technological advances. He said that under Rajeev, UOP has revolutionized contemporary refining and petrochemical industries. (December 30, 2012)
