Honda Motors unveils new Fit Shuttle hybrid wagon

A new hybrid wagon, with the name Fit Shuttle, has been introduced by the Honda Motor Company. This new wagon comes with a large luggage compartment and a fuel economy of 30 kilometers per liter of gasoline. The Fit Shuttle is 51 centimeters longer than the Fit Hybrid, which was launched by the company last year. Honda declined to give the release date for the new vehicle in light of the recent earthquake in Japan. The Fit Shuttle is designed to carry up to five passengers. The suggested retail price for the vehicle is 1.81 million yen (US$22,231) for the hybrid model. (March 17, 2011)
