Gulf Western Oil relocating to larger facility at Dunheved Estate

Penrith, NSW lubricant manufacturer Gulf Western Oil is relocating to Dunheved Estate in St. Marys, a suburb in Western Sydney, to cope with increased demand for its products.
Its new AU$10 million (US$10.2 million) manufacturing facility covers 5,500 sq. meters and has an annual capacity of 60 million liters.
Co-owners and brothers Ben and Andrew Vicary said they were close to their manufacturing capacity at the present site.
“Due to the high level of volume growth which we have been experiencing, it has been necessary to have a lot of raw materials stored off-site and that doesn’t suit our model for growth into the future,” Andrew Vicary said.
Gulf Western Oil is the largest Australian-owned manufacturer of lubricants, with product strengths in agriculture, heavy transport and industrial. The products are sold in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. (March 13, 2013)
