Gulf Oil launches Gulf Formula GX for luxury autos

Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd. has launched a high performance, fully synthetic passenger car motor oil, Gulf Formula GX, which is specially recommended for use in luxury cars and utility vehicles. The product’s superior formulation and performance benefits are demonstrated by the Aston Martin Racing team, Gulf’s worldwide motorsport partner.
Commenting on the launch, Ravi Chawla, president and CEO of Gulf Oil – Lubricants division said, “Car owners looking for better overall performance can now opt for the specially formulated Gulf Formula GX, a fully synthetic motor oil that offers several performance benefits including improved fuel economy, lower oil consumption, wear protection and, cold starting and high temperature running.”
He added, “Synthetic oils have better longevity and the ability to protect the engine from extreme wear and tear. Moreover, they provide high performance in extreme climatic conditions by not breaking down at high temperatures and remaining fluid at low temperatures.”
The product is approved for use by global auto majors such as BMW, Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen, and is specially targeted at the growing luxury car and utility vehicle segment in India. The oil also meets the requirements of other major automakers such as General Motors, Porsche and Renault.
Gulf Formula GX, which is available in convenient 1-liter and 4-liter packs, will be launched in a stylish and unique package, encased inside a fashionable VIP Verve Dlx-G rolling bag that comes free with the 4-liter pack, called the Gulf Formula GX Limited Edition Nonstop Journeys pack.
