Guangzhou Honda names Fu Shoujie chairman

Fu Shoujie, executive vice general manager of Guangzhou Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., a venture of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. of Japan, took the place of Lu Zhifeng as chairman of the company while remaining in his position as the executive vice general manager, the company announced on July 9. Yao Yiming, former general manager of Guangzhou Automobile Group Business Co., Ltd., was appointed as deputy general manager of the venture. The management change is associated with the business expansion of the venture, which started extending its business from car manufacturing and sales to R&D, engine and auto parts from 2007.
