GreenMan Technologies to conduct trials

GreenMan Technologies Inc. announced  that the company has signed an agreement with the company’s subsidiary, American Power Group Inc., and Wesfarmers LNG, a subsidiary of Kleenheat Gas, a provider of gas services, to carry out a 90-day trial for a dual fuel conversion demonstration of heavy-duty trucks in October in Perth, Western Australia. American Power Groups patented dual fuel system, which utilizes diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas (LNG), will be used in the trial in Australia. The dual fuel conversion and emissions reduction systems can help achieve sustainability goals through lower carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and particulate matter emissions. Upon successful completion of the trial, American Power Group and Wesfarmers LNG plan to sign a strategic alliance for the exclusive distribution and installation of the dual fuel systems in Australia.
