GOC to launch knowledge park

Gulf Oil Corp. (GOC) of Hyderabad, India is planning to set up a knowledge park in Hyderabad in 2010. GOC is a part of the Hinduja Group of companies and a manufacturer of lubricants and explosives and has a presence in mining, property development and infrastructure. GOC has reported an increase in net profit during July to September at Rs12 crore (US$2.54 million) compared to Rs98 lakh (US$207,364) in April to June. (November 3, 2009)
