Gazprom Neft starts selling lubricants to Iraq, Turkey

Gazprom Neft subsidiary Gazpromneft – Lubricants has started selling lubricants to Iraq and Turkey, CEO Alexander Trukhan said.
Gazprom Neft plans to sell about 1,000 tons of lubricants to these markets in 2012, of which 200-300 tons will go to Iraq, he said. Sales to both countries will total 5,000 tons next year. The company also plans to start selling lubricants to China in 2014.
“Our trademark is now registered in China. We are preparing to enter this market and are holding talks with partners. I think that 2013 will be a year of preparation and we will be able to start in China in 2014,” he said.
Gazprom Neft plans to produce 450,000 tons of lubricants in 2012 and export around 200,000 tons. In 2013, the company plans to increase production to 463,000 tons.
