Fuel monitoring team shutters outlets
Indonesia’s joint fuel monitoring team, comprised of 28 members representing the Oil and Gas Upstream Regulatory Agency, Pertamina, the Navy, the National Police, the Air Force and the Army, temporarily shut down the operations of 120 Pertamina service stations around the country in July. Underselling was the most common problem uncovered by the fuel monitoring team. Team leader Slamet Singgih said that from March 2005 to June 2006, the team monitored 228 Pertamina service stations in 18 cities. (July 28, 2006)
