Fuchs to elect Hambrecht as chairman

German lubricants manufacturer Fuchs Petrolub AG plans to name Juergen Hambrecht, current chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, as its new supervisory board chairman effective May 2011, the company said. Hambrecht will be retiring as chairman of BASF effective May 2011. Currently, he is also a member of the supervisory boards of Daimler AG and Lufthansa AG, as well as vice president of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI). Hambrecht will succeed Juergen Strube as chairman of Fuchs Petrolub’s supervisory board. (December 13, 2010)
