Fortech Products expands facilities in Michigan

Fortech Products Inc., a provider of corrosion-resistant coatings, metal-forming lubricants and contract packaging services for the auto industry, is expanding its production, office and laboratory facilities at its headquarters in Michigan. The company recently moved its headquarters to a new 80,000-square-foot complex on a 27-acre tract in Brighton, Michigan, U.S.A.; the new site will triple the company’s production capacity, add 25% more warehouse space, and increase product storage capacity by 75,000 gallons. The company’s full-service research-and-development laboratories will also be considerably expanded. Commenting on the expansion, Creighton Forester, Fortech’s CEO and president, said “Fortech sales have grown by more than 25% in the last 12 months alone. In the months ahead, we also expect to see significant increases in our sales of corrosion-resistant coatings and the lubricants we package for the aftermarket.” The company has invested more than US$3.2-million for its new Brighton facilities and is planning for an additional 8,000 square foot expansion.
