Former BP executive to head LLK Lubricants Romania

Michael Weiss, BP’s former lubricants chief in Germany, will head up LLK Lubricants Romania S.R.L, a wholly owned subsidiary of LLK-International LLC. Weiss will oversee the development of Lukoil’s lubricant business in Central and Eastern Europe. The company also appointed Armin Bolsch as LLK-International LLC deputy general director for development. Bolsch will be in charge of searching for new global distribution channels for Lukoil products. Bolsch was director for sales and production and head of the Innovation Group of Mercedes-Benz Lubricants at Daimler AG from 2008 to 2011. LLK International is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lukoil. Last year, the company sold 1.3 million tons of oils and other oil products, including automotive chemicals, in 2011. (January 24, 2012)
