Ford to withdraw from Australian production

U.S.-based automaker Ford Motor Company is planning to stop production in Australia in 2016; according to the International Business Times, the automaker will completely close its Australian manufacturing in the near future, but will continue selling its vehicles in the country. Ford stopped production of the Falcon and Territory due to poor sales in Australia, and Euro 5 emissions standards. (July 31, 2012)
